Oopsie-Daisy!

Oooh...it's only been three months since I've posted!

A LOT has happened since James's six month half birthday.

 

He crawls now-not too far, but he's DEFINITELY mobile!

 

He eats "grown up" food now, like chicken nuggets, bread, cookies, crackers, french fries, ect. Haha

 

He loves ladies and meeting new people.

 

He definitely enjoys spending time with friends his age like, Maddi and Macy, Seth, Gavin, Jackson and Cashton, Remington, and SO many more! ;)

 

James says "dada" "mama" "baba" and so many other babbling words!

 

James still loves banana pudding.

Very Merry Half Birthday!

Yikes, you'd think as a stay at home mom I'd be able to keep up with this better, but I never pull out the laptop. Oops! Sorry.

So today was James Austin's half birthday. Yes. He is SIX months!

We can't believe it either. =(

So here are some photos from his half birthday "party." Actually it was more birthday dinner for our good friend James Wolfe, but he was happy to share the spotlight with another much smaller James. ;)

I baked a cake and cupcakes for the birthday Jameses.

Not impressed or interested in the cupcake at all.

Uncle James and Kyle tried to taunt him with the chocolate icing.

But little James proved he didn't care for the sweets at all. Except to squish between his fingers.

All in all today was a great day, even with a few fits and tears here and there. Allergies and teething make for a very sad James, but family and friends cheer him right up. =)

Back into the swing of things...

It's been a couple weeks since my last post. We've just been busy with the baby, friends, and family. ;)

So first off, James is going to be THREE months in two days. This just seems unreal to me. I mean he was born like last week right?! No? ...Okay.
This past month has been very eventful, from first shots, to Grandma and Grandpa Schubert coming for a visit, to first laughs and learning about his big voice.

He does not enjoy being sick...

Although, he does make exceptions. 

He loves walking with Mommy and Barkley around the block.

 He loves falling asleep while your burping him.

 He loves his WubbaNub ;)

 He does NOT like Daddy blowing on his belly, however.

 He truly loves his alone time on his play mat.

He loves his Puppy. :)

He seems to love making sad faces...

He absolutely loves being read to!

He loves his mobile and lullaby player :)

He reeeally loves his Puppy!

We're not sure if he loved his first car show or not seeing how he slept through it. Lol

Sometimes he loves naps...others he does not.

He also loves playing with his friends! ;)

So little man has grown. Quite a bit in fact. He started out at 8.4lbs and 20.5in and is now, 14lbs and 24in! Yikes!

These moments are going by so fast. I try to take a picture (or 20...) a day to document his changing features and personality. I even write down something each day that he did, a new experience, or a new person he's met.

I want to cherish these moments because I know pretty soon, he'll be walking, then running, then getting into EVERYTHING! Haha That's about the time I'll be drained and too tired to document anything. So let's see how long this lasts. ;)
